During my years in Cairo, Egypt, I traveled more than a dozen times deep into the Western Desert, making the unforgettable 6-hour drive into paradise: the White Desert near Farafra Oasis. This extraordinary region is one of the most magical landscapes on Earth, where wind and time have sculpted endless chalk formations into surreal shapes that glow white under the sun and shimmer under the moonlight.
I spent countless days and nights here, often guided by my good friends Saad and Hamdi from the Badawiya Hotel and Safari in Farafra, exploring the desert’s hidden wonders. Every journey revealed new treasures—delicate desert crystals, fossil fragments, and unique natural stones that capture the spirit of this otherworldly place.
The White Desert is famous for its surreal formations—giant mushrooms, towers, and animal-like shapes carved from pure white chalk. But looking closer, you find a rich variety of textures, colors, and tiny details that make this desert a true geological wonder. My collection focuses on these natural gems, carefully gathered during my visits, each piece telling the story of millions of years of desert history.
Today, I am proud to share these rare White Desert stones with collectors and admirers of natural beauty around the world. These treasures are more than just rocks—they are pieces of a timeless desert paradise, carrying the silence, vastness, and beauty of Egypt’s Sahara.
